?The Fat Goat? is a one directional ski with contemporary design and ski mountaineering roots. The La Cabra Gorda is a wider version of its more slender cousin the La Cabra. Utilizing the same progressive four point effective edge but at 104mm underfoot allows this ski to float on powder and still grip the hardpack snow and transfer edge to edge on the steeps. The traditional camber underfoot and the progressive sidecut lead to aggressive edge control and a nimble turn radius dominate couloirs and slay tight trees. The nearly flat tail allows the ski to power through the end of a turn and maximize edge contact. Contemporary alpinism is implemented into this ski not only in the shape but the lightweight construction. RMU uses their revolutionary Lumilite Carbon Fiber matrix; this special hybrid flex and low dampening Carbon Fiber blend is impregnated within the graphics. What does this mean?
