I hit the bottom jump in Mammoth, just went a little too fast and landed back seat. As soon as my skis touched snow, I felt something snapping really hard in my right knee. I knew exactly what just happened…. I blew my knee! This is probably one of the most common injuries in our sports but it’s still really hard to accept that skiing is over for me this winter. This will also be my first winter without skiing since i’m 3 years old so I’ll have to find something else I like!
Now the plan is, going back to Québec to get surgery and then work as hard as I can to come back stronger than ever.
