Hi there
I live in La Tania and run the only independant chalet that doesn't have stuff running it www.nickskithreevalleys.co.uk. That aside I wanted to let you know a bit more about La Tania;
Re night life life mentioned in the above - recently it has vastly imporved and there is live music in at least one of the pubs each night of the week; Pub le Ski Lodge, Taiga, Chrome Bar and Telemark. There are also a wide variety of resturants including one with a Michelin star.
BUT, its about the SKIING, and we can rapidly access Courchevel and Meribel via the fast gondola and chair out of La Tania. The La Tania runs are beautiful and tree lined so ideal if snowy or low vis and the off-piste above La Tania is fantastic. we often ski to Orelle (the 4th Valley) and back in a day but it needs stamina - maybe about 30 or 40 miles skiing!
The un-official website www.latania.co.uk has loads of useful information on it.
I'm not sure about the info given on the chair-lifts as there are NO T BARS in the 3 valleys but according to Skipass.com there are 25 in La Tania!
